A Review of Milano Jewellery Week 2025

Milano Jewellery Week 2025: A Global Celebration of Art, Craft, and Innovation
From heritage craftsmanship to avant-garde design, the fifth edition of Milano Jewelry Week reaffirmed the Italian capital’s status as the beating heart of the international jewellery scene.
Milan Transforms into the Capital of Contemporary Jewellery
Milan, October 24, 2025 — The fifth edition of Milano Jewelry Week (MJW) has officially concluded, once again turning the Lombard capital into the world’s epicentre of creativity and jewellery excellence.
From October 16 to 20, the city hosted over 80 events — from exhibitions and performances to talks, workshops, and experiential installations — weaving a citywide celebration of artistry and innovation.

Sponsored by the Municipality of Milan, CNA Artistico e Tradizionale, CNA Federmoda, and Assogemme, the 2025 edition saw a notable increase in attendance compared to the previous year, drawing professionals, collectors, press, and enthusiasts from across the globe.
“Milano Jewellery Week has become a global reference point for those who experience jewellery as a form of art and universal language,” said Enzo Carbone, CEO of Prodes Italia and founder of the event. “Each edition renews the excitement of seeing Milan transformed into a laboratory of ideas and connections.”

Three Signature Events Define the Week
As in previous years, the 2025 edition revolved around three major showcases celebrating the diversity of the international jewellery world:
- The Jewelry HUB — Hosted at Palazzo Serbelloni, it served as the central platform for high-end jewellery and cutting-edge design, featuring exclusive previews and B2B meetings between brands, galleries, and buyers.
- Artistar Jewels — Now in its eleventh edition, this curated exhibition presented over 800 works by global designers, bridging art and contemporary jewellery. The event also welcomed prestigious galleries, reaffirming its role as a leading stage for creative experimentation.
- The Talent Show — Making its debut at Palazzo RAA, this dynamic space showcased installations and prototypes from academies and emerging designers, offering a glimpse into the future of contemporary jewellery.

A Week of Emotion, Craft, and Connection
Throughout the week, MJW 2025 transformed Milan into a living gallery — a citywide journey through showrooms, ateliers, and independent spaces, where craftsmanship, innovation, and art intersected.
Visitors discovered open workshops at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana, curated itineraries by Sotheby’s, Recarlo, Scavia, Gioielleria Merzaghi, Voga & Co., Barbara Currado Gioielli Milano, and DcomeDesign, among many others.
The result was a sensory experience uniting culture, research, and sustainability — a dialogue between heritage and modernity that defines Milan’s creative DNA.

MJW 2025 Awarding Night: A Celebration of Global Talent
The most anticipated moment of the week, the MJW 2025 Gala Ceremony, took place on October 17 at Teatro San Babila, hosted by Diego Zappone and Francesca Cheyenne of RTL 102.5.
A sold-out audience gathered to honour international excellence, as an expert jury of curators, gallery directors, and designers presented the Milano Jewelry Week Awards.

Following the ceremony, guests moved to MIB Milano, steps from Piazza Affari, for an exclusive cocktail celebration — an evening of design, music, and networking that captured Milan’s signature spirit of sophistication and conviviality.
